With Valentine's Day coming, this is the perfect treat to make for yourself,
or for your honey! Let's get started!

What You Need
Brownie mix or brownies made from scratch
Frosting of your choice
Food coloring
Sprinkles
Cake decorating gel
Eggs
Water
Vegetable Oil
Equipment:
A mixing bowl
A baking pan
A whisk
Heart shaped cookie cutters
A butter knife or spreader
Measuring cups and spoons
A spoon
A plate
Optional
Milk
What to Do
Step 1. Preheat your oven to the directed temperature, and then grease
the bottom and sides of a baking pan. Set aside.
Step 2. Make your brownies according to the directions on the box, or
make them from scratch.
Note: Most box recipes call for oil, eggs, and water. You can also use milk
instead of water. I haven't done this, but I heard it makes a difference.
Step 3. Pour your batter into your prepared baking pan and bake for the
directed amount of time.
Step 4. Allow your brownies to cool. Once they are cool, gently use a
heart shaped cookie cutter to cut hearts out of your brownie.
Best part you get to eat the scraps!
Step 5. Decorate each heart however you wish. Color the icing pink with
pink food coloring, and with red gel, write conversation messages on the
hearts such as kiss me, call me, my baby, etc. You can also get v/day
sprinkles, and ice your hearts with red frosting, and spoon some sprinkles
on them. You can even buy mini m and m's and write the conversation
messages in Braille, will it take longer? Yes. But it's creative!
Step 6. If using food coloring, ask someone sighted to help you color your
icing. If you are using gel, have someone help you write the messages.
Put on a plate and dig in!

I have a question. what if you don't really own cookie cutters? I know I know,
you're think why don't you have cookie cutters? I don't know. but what do
you do if you don't have a heart shaped cookie cutter? those sound like an
amazing snack for you or your honey or best friend. could we also make thos
friendship heart shaped brownies? anyways, thanks for this! I'll probably make
them sometime.

you could try cutting out a heart shape with a knife. It will most likely be far from perfect unless you have a very steady hand. For a very large heart brownie, you could use the open ends of two cans to make the rounded tops by placing pressure only on the top half of the cans as you are pressing them into the browmies, then use a knife to draw intersecting lines down from each outer side of the rounded tops.
Or you could buy cookie cutters or another option is to buy a pan that has heart shaped wells so no cutting would be necessary. (BTWm I have one of those and it is ceramic and beautiful , but I never use it because it is a b**** to get clean after baking in it. It is the old kind of ceramic, not the new non stick stuff.

Cookie cutters are both cheap and versatile.

We used to make the kids cinnamon toast bears and other shapes using those on toast.

Yeah you could always buy a cookie cutter. We had a heart shaped cookie
cutter but we lost it, and it came in a set, there was the heart, a flower, and
another shape I forget what that shape was. Or if you don't have a cookie
cutter, you can color the batter red and just cut them like normal brownies.

you can make things even easier and instead of pouring the brownines in to a regular pan just buy a heart shaped one. wilton makes one for a very reasonable price.

You don't have to have a honey. You can make them for yourself.
